My name is Patrick Johnson. I am or was the back up quarterback at Morgan Academy; a small private school in Selma AL. I’ve always been someone who wants to fit in with the group and do things that others say isn’t the best idea. I’ve always been this double sided person. I play football I’ve always played because my friends did. On August 23rd 2024 my life changed drastically. It’s the first game of the football season and we’re getting ready to play our first game and I’m expecting to sit out and watch Caden Tellier play. A Beloved Nephew

Oh how I miss this boy! I was so looking forward to him becoming an adult and being a peer that I walk through life with. All of the things to look forward to! Graduation, college athletics, marriage, children, financial success, and finally beating him at darts in my garage… It’s hard to reconcile that God had something else in store for us but that is the truth. Caden’s favorite quote is from Jackie Robinson and it is that “A life isn’t significant except for its impact on other lives.” Well I’d say in a quick almost 17 years #17 made a significant impact! Caden – Follower of Jesus

I knew another side of Caden Tellier than some may have known. I knew him as a worshipping lover of Jesus. Countless youth trips I was blessed to tag along on have been running through my mind and heart and recalling how Caden loved worshipping the Lord. Most knew him as being passionate about sports. I knew him in his passion for Jesus and for worshipping the One he loved. I wouldn’t take anything for those memories that are burned in my heart and memory bank.
