Meet Caden

Caden Tellier

A Brief, Powerful Story

Caden Tellier was a beloved son, brother, friend, and athlete from Selma, Alabama. As quarterback for Morgan Academy, he was known not just for his talent on the field, but for his joy, kindness, and unwavering faith.

In August 2024, during the season opener, Caden suffered a severe brain injury and passed away shortly after. Even in death, he continued to give as an organ donor, reflecting the generosity that defined his life.

In the week before his passing, Caden told his youth pastor that he was praying for revival in Selma. That prayer became a spark for his community, inspiring worship nights, outreach events, and ultimately the creation of the Caden Tellier Foundation.

The phrase #LiveLikeCaden soon emerged as a movement, calling people to live with the same faith, kindness, and love that Caden embodied. His jersey number was retired at Morgan Academy, and his story has since reached national audiences, reminding many that one life lived with purpose can inspire countless others.
